On Thursday November 18th , we was invited down to Birmingham for the final of the HIQ local hero awards, which was hosted by Sally Gunnel MBE ,
Sally spoke very highly of what we do at the big bash and was amazed at what we had raised in aid of the fight against breast cancer .asked what we had planned for 2011 and heaped praise on all the people who take part in our events .
unfortunately Kev came home as a runner up -A regional winner for the east of England and was presented with a personal cheque for £250 and a bottle of Moet Champagne .
For the big bash to be recognised in this way is something very special to us , and some thing we are very grateful for , a day we will remember for a very long time ,
massive congratulations must go to Becky Hurd the out right winner of the hero’s award a very worthy winner indeed
