win a day with Alan

Alan has yet again stepped forward to help raise funds for the breast cancer charity , in fact he jumped at the chance , a true gent .

Ive been approached several times asking if we can change the way we do these to make them more accessible to all , not just those who can afford to pay hundreds of pounds , so here is what we have come up with .

This year we are going to sell “chances” each chance costs £5 , it runs very similar to a raffle , you pay £5 per ticket to have your name entered in to the draw which Alan will draw him self , you can have as many goes (chances) as you wish , the more you enter the bigger the chance of winning .

we will run this through till Sunday February 20Th , where i will meet up with Alan and get him to draw a name from the bucket ,

The lucky winner will then win a days fishing tuition or 2 people with the great man himself , at a date & venue suitable to both parties

10 O’clock this cold Sunday morning the phone rang, it was Kev Allen no less with the best news I could have wished for.
To let me know I’d won the day’s fishing with Mr Alan Scotthorne. I feel like a kid in a sweet shop at the news.
I entered just to help Kev raise funds for a fantastic cause never thinking I could win.
No I just have to arrange the date and the venue, I can’t wait.
a big thanks the Kev for running the raffle and to Alan for donating his time to a worthy cause.
